I think for MANY Americans, just buying the S&P 500 IS the best way for them to invest in their future. Too many times I see people late in their lives having put off investing because they didn't know what stocks to pick, how to open an account, or simply understand if they were making a good decision or bad one. Constantly seeking out the "best" investment just leads to paralysis and bad decisions.
History has shown what the S&P 500 can do to build wealth. We don't know the future. We don't know if shares of Amazon stock, physical gold, bitcoin or an S&P 500 ETF will be the return on investment leader in one year, five years, twenty years or at your retirement date. The key, for me, is to just start investing as early as possible and nothing could be easier and diversified than an S&P 500 ETF.

Hi Roberto, thank you for your perspective. It’s a great reminder that investing is better than not investing at all.
